Geoffrey Paterson - Chairman

Geoffrey Paterson - CEO

Geoffrey has over 30 years experience leading businesses in the development and delivery of software applications, telephony and computing technology. His businesses have focussed upon the delivery of simple yet effective use of technology and process to solve important business problems.  This philosophy has been successfully applied in diverse markets including agriculture, finance and defence.  In 2002 he initiated and lead Resilient through a major transition from a product business to the cloud based services business it is today. Geoffrey enjoys theatre, playing tennis and peau de phoque. Geoffrey has led Resilient since its inception.

Andrew Bale - CEO

Andrew Bale - COO

Andrew has over 25 years experience leading and managing technology companies.  He holds an MA in Natural Sciences from University of Cambridge and an MSC in Computer Sciences from University of London. He joined Resilient as Head of Operations responsible for the day to day operation of the business before being promoted to COO in 2008.  During this period he was instrumental in transitioning Resilient from a product business to the cloud based services business it is today.  Andrew became CEO in 2011.  Prior to joining Resilient he held the position of Vice President of Global Managed Services (EMEA) for Avaya. Andrew enjoys tennis and is a keen vocalist, performing at major venues including the Royal Albert Hall. Andrew joined Resilient Networks in 2004.

James Foley - VP Sales

James Foley - VP Sales

James has 25 years experience in enterprise software sales gained across EMEA, APAC and US territories.  He joined Resilient following 10 years in California working in both direct and channel sales roles, most recently at Hyperion where he was Director of Sales.  James has lead Resilient’s transition to proposition selling and recurring revenue subscription models.  He now leads Resilient’s sales team which has seen significant success in the UK banking and finance sector, defence and retail sectors.  His interests have been influenced by his time spent in the US and include technology to drive social networking, surfing and snowboarding.  James has been with Resilient Networks since 2004.  

David Collins - VP Marketing

David Collins - VP Marketing

David has over 25 years experience working in both data and telecommunications sectors.  He joined Resilient from LogicaCMG Mobile Networks where spent 5 years in various customer facing roles, including Business Development Director, responsible for promoting and support sales of IN based services to mobile operators around the globe. David now works closely with our channel partners to position and promote our propositions and services.  He also manages our brand and is responsible for communicating our corporate identity. He enjoys sailing and is involved in local rugby. David joined Resilient Networks in 2006.

Tim Jalland – VP Product & Propositions

Tim Jalland - VP Product and Propositions

Tim has over 25 years experience working in the telecommunications sector.  He studied at Imperial College London where he gained a BSc in Physics.  He joined Resilient from Airwave where he led a large team of product managers and developers responsible for delivering critical communications solutions to organisations that provide vital services to the public. Prior to this he held various senior positions at 3Com Corporation where he gained his MBA.  Tim has both product and proposition management responsibilities. This includes the identification, definition and timely delivery of new propositions and the services that underpin them. Tim plays badminton in his local county league.  Tim joined Resilient Networks in 2011.

Suresh Rasakulasuriar - VP Development

Suresh Rasakulasuriar - VP Development

Suresh has 25 years experience working in software development.  He studied at Imperial College London where he gained his BSc in Computing Science before setting up a software consultancy and eventually joining Resilient. Suresh has responsibility for managing the development of the platform software which drives Resilient’s cloud-based services. He has also been instrumental in the transition to agile development methodologies which have enabled the business to reduce time to market whilst maintaining the highest levels of software quality.  Suresh is a cricket enthusiast who enjoys playing the game and managing a local junior cricket team. Suresh joined Resilient Networks in 1993.

Dr Alfonso Ferrandez - VP Applications Development

Dr Alfonso Ferrandez - VP Applications Development

Alfonso has 20 years experience of application development following his PhD in Engineering gained at Leeds University.  He has worked for some of the biggest names in the technology industry, including Sony and Avande (the latter a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture).  His role at Resilient is to architect, and manage the implementation of client-facing applications utilising his knowledge of the latest and most advanced software trends. Alfonso joined Resilient Networks in 2010.

David Menniss - Customer Services Manager

David Menniss - Customer Services Manager

David has 15 years experience working in customer services and billing.  He gained his degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Brighton University. David joined Resilient as Helpdesk Manager and was responsible for establishing the business’ National Operations Centre - from where secure services are managed on behalf of Resilient’s partners and their customers.  David was promoted in 2009 to Head of Customer Services and now has the responsibility for the delivery of first class helpdesk and billing services. David is a Caterham enthusiast and enjoys mountain biking. David joined Resilient Networks in 1995.

Guy Stringer - Head of Programmes

Guy Stringer - Customer Operations Manager

Guy has 15 years experience working in operational roles.  He joined Resilient as Pre-sales Manager from EDS where he was a member of the Consulting Services Division focussed upon the government sector. Prior to entering the commercial arena, Guy spent 8 years in HM Forces as an Infantry Officer, primarily in an operational role. He is now Head of Programmes tasked with ensuring the processes and capabilities are in place that support service delivery through Resilient partners.  He also has responsibility for maintaining business quality in accordance with ISO9001. His interests include running, hill walking, tennis and cricket. Guy joined Resilient Networks in 2009.

Bruce Povey - Head of Infrastructure Services

Bruce Povey - Head of Infrastructure Services

Bruce has over 20 years experience working in the IT industry. Prior to joining Resilient he has held senior network and voice infrastructure management positions for a number of global financial Institutions, including Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities. Bruce now leads the management and development of the operational infrastructure that underpins the delivery of Resilient’s cloud-based services.  Bruce enjoys travelling and experiencing a variety of sports/leisure pursuits. Bruce joined Resilient Networks in 2009.
